These two books couldn’t be more different, but I love variety, and I thought that you might appreciate having two different options to check out this month that can be just what you need at different points of the month. Abby was very excited to say the least lol Each book is linked when you click on the title.

“Her Perfect Life is a Perfect Lie”
This psychological thriller was definitely a page turner, and a quick read.
Darcy is bold, beautiful, and rich. She’s married to a powerful man, lives the perfect life, and she’s the head of the toxic school moms.
Louisa is a kind, and loving wife. She only wants what is best for her family, even if it means sending her son to a private school that her and her husband can barely afford.
Darcy makes it a point to befriend Louisa. She charms Louisa with her home, her life, manicure, and smile. As Louisa gets involved in Darcy’s dream life, she finds her family roped into situations they can’t get out of, and strange things begin to unravel.
What starts out as paranoia, results in Louisa questioning everything she thought she knew. And amongst money troubles, a marriage that is on the rocks, things take another chilling turn.
You have to read to find out if Louisa can save her marriage, her sanity, and her own life in this exciting thriller.
Choose Joy Because Happiness Isn’t Enough by Kay Warren
Categories– Christian Literature
Number of Pages– 272
Publication Date– May 1, 2013
ISBN # 9780800722135
This book was such a big reminder that joy and happiness aren’t two in the same. I think that during difficult times like these, we all need a little reminder as to what is important in life. We have to make a daily choice to be joyful in any situation, and stop expecting others to create our joy for us. The first three chapters were an introduction into the book, and after the third chapter, I highly recommend reading only a chapter a day to get the most out of it. Kay takes each chapter to explain how we can praise God in all things, and how joy is possible for each of us, regardless of our circumstances.
Please read, share, and comment. Until next month 🙂
