I was 15 years old when I officially became a citizen of the United States. Not a day goes by where I am beyond grateful to live in this beautiful country. I would have never had the opportunities that I have had, if my parents didn’t make the move here when I was six. I am thankful each and everyday to be here, and thankful to all the countless men and women who have given their life so that I can continue to call this country, my home.
